Top Fish Games Performance in South Africa Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top fish games on a unified platform in South Africa showed interesting performance trends, according to Sensor Tower data.

Fishdom from Playrix saw a fluctuating pattern in weekly revenue, peaking at around $27K in late December. Weekly downloads varied, with a high of approximately 7.9K early in December, while active users grew from 21.5K to a peak of 26.3K.

Fishdom Solitaire, also by Playrix, maintained a modest revenue flow, reaching $1.4K in the week leading up to Christmas. Downloads were minimal, with a maximum of 27 in a week, and active users gradually decreased from 253 to 141 by the end of the quarter.

Hungry Shark Evolution by Ubisoft experienced a varied trend in downloads, with a significant rise to 22.3K in the last week of December. Revenue remained steady, averaging around $250 weekly, while active users peaked at over 108K in mid-December.

Octopus Feast from Rollic Games showed consistent revenue, peaking at $401 in late October. Downloads were highest at the end of December with 588, and active users increased from 16 to 224 during the quarter.

Hungry Shark World, another Ubisoft title, had stable weekly downloads, maxing at 3.8K towards the end of December. Revenue reached $315 in early December, with active users rising from 15.1K to 16.5K.
